Wholesale Gift Account Manager - Outreach and Key Account Specialist
As we continue to grow, we are in search of fun and dedicated team members to help us jump to that next level. We have experienced tremendous growth over the past several years and do not see that slowing down. We have reached the point where we need help managing all of our wholesale accounts. All of these shops, from mom & pop gift shops to chain stores, need love. They need periodically called, asked how Fire & Pine is doing in their shops, need help placing reorders, or advice on merchandising and selling tips.
We also need to drum up new business. This involves lots of methods, including cold calling, email campaigns, and traveling to trade shows.
We are looking for a B2B Account Sales Manager that specializes in outreach methods to build on existing and new relationships with our clientele. This person may also travel to attend trade shows that we are vending at to interact with customers in person. These shows number anywhere from 6-12 each year in cities such as Atlanta, New York City, Dallas, and Las Vegas. The time away for these shows varies from 3-8 days at a time, depending on the show.
This position will report directly to the President, but also will interact with several other departments to gauge where everything flows at any moment in time. You will also be working hand-in-hand with our B2B Brand Ambassador and other Sales Account Managers.
Outreach Specialist
As the team “Outreach Specialist”, you will be responsible for maintaining Hubspot and proactively reaching out to the majority of our customers. The expectation is to complete 20-40 outbound calls a day. Sometimes it could be zero and other times it could be 60. But we are looking for quality contacts over quantity.
Key Account Acquisition
Fire & Pine primarily sells into boutique gift shops. We need someone who can take over the responsibility of getting our products into bigger chain stores (think Cracker Barrel, Bass Pro Shops, etc). These can be time consuming endeavors, so having previous experience working with these types of accounts would be huge!
What Skills Are We Looking For?
Bachelor's Degree or higher is recommended, but not required
4+ year of B2B sales experience strongly recommended, ideally in the wholesale gift sector
6+ years general sales experience preferred
Experience in the corporate gift/promotional product industry is not required, but would be amazing as it is a sales channel we are just beginning to explore
Proficient in Mac software such as Numbers and Pages, or equivalent Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word
Experience with Hubspot CRM is a plus, as well as Shopify and Faire
Availability to travel to trade shows and help set up booth displays as needed
Ability to "warm" call existing customers confidently
Ability to "cold" call and visit potential new clients when time permits

Compensation & Benefits
You will earn a base salary of $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.
You are eligible for quarterly bonuses based on the team's B2B sales
80 hours of Paid Time Off per year to start
24 hours of Sick time PTO per year
Major holidays off
Remote work is absolutely acceptable. However, if located remotely, we would like to fly you to our headquarters in South Carolina at least twice a year, plus one week for training.
